Emergency
Dental emergencies can happen unexpectedly and can be frightening. The first thing you should do is contact us immediately if you’re experiencing an emergency.
Dental emergencies can include trauma to the face, such as from a fall or a blow (e.g., from a toy), swelling or infection, and severe pain.
When you inform our staff that you have an emergency, our goal is to see you for an examination as soon as possible. Some emergencies require immediate attention, so it’s always best to reach out to us as soon as you can.
** If this is a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1 immediately. Medical emergencies can include, but are not limited to, situations such as difficulty breathing, an inability to eat or drink anything, or being unable to open the mouth due to swelling. Additionally, if swelling from a dental infection causes the eye to close, it’s important to seek immediate care at a hospital.
